Senior Highway Engineer

Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering firm operating out of 9 office locations in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland, is accepting applications for a Senior Highway Engineer to work out of our Somerset Office.
This position is responsible for managing roadway and bridge projects and will serve as a technical expert directing design effort on several concurrent projects. The Senior Highway Engineer prepares and monitors project budgets, schedules and timely completion of projects, directs the work of engineers, engineering technicians or drafters on specific projects, and is responsible for profitability of projects under his/her direction. The successful candidate serves as a designated client liaison and attends client meetings.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• a minimum of 10 years of progressive transportation experience
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Thorough knowledge of the PennDOT and PTC project development process
• Strong experience and relationships with local, state, and federal transportation partners
• Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills
