Environmental Engineering Technician, Clarion, PA Office
Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc., is actively seeking a full-time Environmental Engineering Technician located in our Clarion, PA office. The Engineering Technician is needed to support our current clients and workload.
Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Environmental Engineering Technician will assist project managers with water sampling, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, mine permitting, preparation of design deliverables, permit application packages, stream and wetland mitigation design.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years related work experience within the engineering sector. Desired qualifications include experience with regulatory permitting, drawing preparation, project cost estimating, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and other engineering software including Autodesk 3D. Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired.
The preferred candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Experience with AutoCAD or ESRI software is a plus. The preferred candidate will also have an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a closely related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
